Ateliers Monde participates to the beautiful exhibition project « Parures » that will be shown for the first time at Made in Town for a launch press from October 2nd to the 6th, 2015. To the initiative of Universal love and its founder Isabelle Quéhé, around thirty designers were invited to create a finary as an art piece simple or sophisticated, an accessory powerfully adorning any outfit. Each designer was free to make pieces using ancestral or contemporary techniques. This exhibition aims to promote an world craftsmanship heritage that unfortunately tends to vanish.
For this project, Ateliers Monde has partnered with jewelry designer Carole Fraresso from Motché Paris-Lima for the young girl design « A Gift to the Sun God » designed in metal and coton weaving. The textile part was entirely produced in Peru by female weavers from the North and the plastron was shaped by Motché’s official goldsmith.
